Simon Adeyinka

Founder & Lead Architect

BA(Hons).Dip.Arch.RIBA

Being of Irish and West African background (an interesting fusion at best of times) imparts an ability to draw on both cultures in many aspects of the life, setting off on a new adventure in launching an architectural practice “Asiko Architects” offers a platform that can intertwine both cultures. Simon believes that architecture is more than just the creation of structural form — it’s a celebration of culture, identity, and innovation. Rooted in the rich heritage of the culture of our upbringing, influencing design, as we draw inspiration from the vibrant traditions, patterns, and philosophies of, blending them with contemporary aesthetics to create spaces that are both functional and fashionable.

The name Asiko, derived from the Yoruba language, means "fashionable" or "of the moment," reflecting a commitment to crafting timeless designs that resonate with modern lifestyles while honouring my roots. Our mission is to create spaces that tell stories, evoke emotions, and inspire connection.

If Asiko Architects can move from a design practice to a movement that redefines how cultural influences can shape the future of architecture, we will have succeeded in our goals. We are excited to embark on this journey, bringing a fresh perspective to the built environment and celebrating the beauty of cultural diversity in every design.
